Summer means lots of purple things flowering in our garden. We have a heap of purple agapanthus, which are always fun to photograph - they look so different from different angles, and I love how they emerge from their buds. I also have some lilacs in flower and a few purple annuals that have sprung up. I took these photos one morning earlier in the week, after a brief thunderstorm, which always makes for lovely photos with clean flowers and rain droplets. It was a very purple week.....
